Historical Costumes

Hello, I'm Ellen Eley a graduate of music living in this beautiful corner of Lincolnshire where I have been teaching piano, singing, theory, electric keyboard and the violin since 1981.

I enjoy organising local productions and, when directing a musical a couple of years ago, I realised how hard it was to obtain good quality theatrical and historical costumes.

I therefore set about designing some Egyptian and Regency costumes on my old friend "Maisy" the mannequin and now I've had a whale of a time.

I have already established a client base amongst historical societies, festival theatre groups and re-enactments.

I make mens and womens costumes from any period but my favourites are Regency and Napoleonic. I also enjoy making wedding dresses to order.
